Welcome to EmpowerStudents.in. By using this website, you agree to the terms below. Please read them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What we are

EmpowerStudents.in is an educational and self-assessment platform. It offers evaluations, reports, and structured practice programmes across life-readiness domains, parenting reflection, and child development. It is designed to help parents and adults think clearly about themselves and their families.

Important: EmpowerStudents is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or educational diagnosis. Nothing on this platform constitutes a medical diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified professional before making any decision that could affect your or your child's health or wellbeing.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
You must provide accurate information (name, contact, child details)
If you are creating an account or entering information on behalf of a child, you must be that child's parent or lawful guardian
One account per person. Do not share your login credentials.

3. Your account and passwords

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else, contact us immediately at care@empowerstudents.in.

4. Paid services

Some evaluations and features are free. Others require payment via wallet top-up (Cashfree).
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payments are processed securely by Cashfree. We do not store your card details.
Digital services (evaluations, reports, courses) are delivered instantly and are non-refundable once used, except in cases of technical failure on our side.
Unused wallet credits do not expire but are not transferable and are not convertible to cash.

5. Refunds

If a paid service fails to deliver due to a technical problem on our end (for example, a report failed to generate after payment), please contact us within 7 days. We will either re-attempt the service or refund the credit to your wallet. Refunds to your original payment method are considered case-by-case for legitimate disputes.

6. Your content

The answers, voice recordings, and text you submit remain your property.
By submitting them, you grant us a limited licence to process them for the purpose of generating your reports and improving the platform (in aggregated, non-identifying form only).
You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights.

7. Our content

The reports, courses, articles, and framework of the Human Independence Index are our original work. You may share your own report with anyone you choose, but you may not copy or redistribute the underlying platform content (question banks, scoring algorithms, course materials, blog articles) without written permission.

8. Referral partners

Some parents arrive at EmpowerStudents through referrals from partner clinics, paediatricians, or therapy centres. These partners may:

Receive a small revenue share on paid services you use (up to 20% by default)
See aggregate information about the parents they referred (name, WhatsApp, activity count)
NOT see the content of your evaluations or reports unless you share them explicitly

9. Fair use

Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform
Do not use automated bots to interact with our services
Do not use the platform to harass, threaten, or exploit anyone
Do not create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without notice and without refund of unused credits.

10. Availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced when possible. We are not liable for temporary outages or data delays caused by third-party services (payment gateway, WhatsApp, hosting).

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is". While we take reasonable care to ensure the accuracy of our content, we make no warranty that:

The evaluations will diagnose or predict any medical or psychological condition
The recommendations will produce a specific result
The platform will be error-free or continuously available

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional damages.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified by email or WhatsApp before they take effect. Continued use after that means acceptance of the new terms.
